New Update

Okay, been pretty busy lately working on a few things you'll be hearing soon, so I'll just break it down into bullet form:

  • The move in went 'well', at least for as well as I could honestly have hoped for. The Anarchy sisters have been as accommodating as usual, but as long as I don't enter their annexes I should be in the clear. Sleeping is problematic though; the couch itself is comfy but their 'dog', Chuck, has tendency to come out in the middle of the night and hump it for hours on end. At this point I kinda just have to roll with it.
  • No Slendy or demon-girl... well, having actual known some personally I don't know if demon-girl really fits but *shrug*. Not even in my dreams. Weather's still shit as ever and my unease doesn't go away. That presence that I reported like almost a month ago on that excursion I feel  off and on outside of the Church. I try to keep those circumstances to a bare minimum.
  • I actually tried calling my other paranormal friends recently to see if they'd heard from Stan or anything (Yeah yeah, I should've done this earlier..). And, ummm, apparently they're gone too, none of them picked up. I'd go to their house to check up on them, but.... yeah no.
  • As for the sisters themselves, Panty seems to be growing increasingly antsy as of late. I can't really corroberate this because like I said, I don't go out often now, but apparently the Daten clubbing scene is completely dead. She was reduced to giving a BJ to some dude in a back alley, and even that was a few days ago. Combined with no Ghosts to fight, She's been feeling real cooped up. I'm starting to get worried about her; she's starting to walk around the cathedral listlessly like a dog trapped in a cage. It's really sad, in my opinion. :/
  • Stocking on the other hand has been taking things really well. Since she's sitting on a backlog of Heavens from all the Ghosts she's defeated, she's been spending her time summoning up sweets from Ex Nihilo  (A 'mail' order catalog angels use) to chowdown on without even leaving the church. Her reserve is beginning to run out though, which is lead her to start bitching about how since the currency is, in the most literal sense, is fiat, why they even bother instituting a currency at all. I told her that for things to have meaning they must have a 'price' to them... an answer she was not very receptive to.
  • As for me, I've been working on a lead. I backtraced the original message I got, and it appears it DID come from the ruins of DCHS. I'll have to head back there soon to see what happened... when I work up the nerve to I mean.

An Ordinary Sunday At Church

Okay, on the advice of a couple of my followers (AKA all of my followers), I've been taking a break from thinking about SM stuff. Since then I've been feeling a bit less jittery, though the weather refuses to improve. If I've had anymore dreams or nightmares, I can't remember them. Just been mopping around my house lately, playing video games and surfing the web.

Today though I decided to go to church, specifically the one run by the pastor who's the Anarchy Sister's guardian, Garterbelt. Now, let me let you in on a little secret about Daten: We aren't... the most religious of cities. Garter's Cathedral is the only Catholic church in the city, and there are no Mosques or Synagogues to my recollection. Despite... everything that goes on here, we're as secular a city as they get; those who do go to church on any sort of basis go to massive megachurches that are either feel-good, nondenominational affairs or... this:

To be perfectly honest, I'm not the best of Christians either, despite (or perhaps, because of) knowing several Angels personally. And when I go to the church, its rarely for religious reasons.

Anyway, Garter's church has a membership of practically none as far as I can tell, and I've been to a number of his Sunday Sermons. This occasion was no different from any other, which meant that it would be bizarre if it weren't for the fact that it fit perfectly with everything else that occurs. Garter was up at the pulpit, delivering a sermon on the Seven Deadly Sins to only me and Stocking. He intoned every word with passion and seriousness, a serious that was immediately negated by his pet dog.... thing dry humping the pulpit for the entirety of the sermon.

Stocking was there in only the most broadest definition of the term. She was sprawled out on one of the pews laying on a bunch of throw pillows, eating a platter of chocolate and strawberry drizzled beignets the entire service. To say that she zoned out would imply she was zoned in to begin with; I think she actually curled up and went to sleep towards the end.

About 15 minutes in the church was filled with grunts and moans coming from upstairs; Panty was apparently having her way with a number of men. Despite the loud sounds of coitus, Garter tried to keep the Sermon going (which, ironically enough, had just gotten to Lust), but he soon lost track of himself and the service soon degenerated into him talking about anecdotes from his life. Meanwhile, the orgasmic moans kept growing louder and they kept on going! Seriously, it went on for the entire service and was STILL going on when Garter FINALLY wrapped it up. Garter tried to rope me into a confessional, but... previous experience has taught me that isn't something I want to do. Realizing Panty probably wouldn't be available for quite sometime. I decided to call it in and head home.

So yeah, that's what a church service at Garter's church is like. Its pretty much this way every week from what I can tell. Still, its nice to get a chance to see the Anarchy Sisters when I have a legitimate to actually be there. I'll probably comeback tomorrow or the day after, its been a while since I've been there regularly.

No  Slendy sightings, though that shouldn't really be all that of a surprise. Haven't heard from Stan at all either, so I have to assume he hasn't gone back yet. At any rate, expect some more mundane entries for the next couple days like this one. But if anything comes up, I'll let you know.

Ok, Just Got Back

A tad paranoid to be honest. Nothing 'bad' per se happened but... I dunno. It just felt off.

Let me back track a little, its hard to explain. So I leave my home and head out the street to the game store which is, I would guess, 2 or so miles away in a chain outlet. My neighborhood's fairly upscale; bunch of McMansions and manicured lawns and there's always police patrolling so I don't have to be worried about being mugged or anything (though hell of a lot of good they'll be if Ghosts were to attack), but there was an emptiness to it. I mean there were other people out; jogging, walking dogs, that sort of thing, but... maybe the weather's beginning to get to them. It got pretty miserable when the wind started to kick up into my face, but I could deal with it. But even the weather considered, there weren't a lot of people out, even when I got to the shopping center. And the people I did see were lethargic and tired. Man, I hope this weather breaks soon.

More than that though, and you're all gonna say I'm just letting this SM thing get to me, but... I felt like I was being watched. No, I didn't see any shadowy figures or anything like that, but I felt, as weird as it sounds, like I ALMOST did. It felt like there eyes peering at the back of my head; not actively glaring as much as passively observing.... I know this sounds like gibberish but this feeling is hard to describe. It might just be a bit of paranoia getting to me, idk. But in the back of my head, I kept expecting SOMETHING to step out of the shadows. Needless to say, this made the entire trip tense and uncomfortable.

And the best part about it all? The game I pre-ordered, Bulletstorm? Well, turns out I mixed up what day it was released on, its not out for another two weeks, so this was all a great use of my time. I'm gonna play some ME2 then go to bed. Hopefully my dreams won't be that disturbed from all this paranoia.

Dreary Weather We're Having

Man, I haven't seen the sun in like over a week, maybe two? This has to be one of the longest stretches of lousy weather Daten has seen in a while. It's not like its stormy or rainy or anything, just crappy, depressing weather.

You'd probably expect this ominous weather to be a portent for Evil or something, but surprisingly its not. Like I said in the comments a couple days ago, there haven't been any ghosts attacks lately. Maybe those stupid Daemon Sisters finally gave up the ghost? :p

...Anyways, Gonna run down to EB Games (for some reason they never switched ours to a Gamestop; it's weird) and pick up a game I preordered. First time I've been out of the house in a few days. I'll let you know if anything happens. Seeya in a bit.
